Projects
See below for a variety of digital design and photography projects.
This project was an assignment I was given in the class LSC332: Print & Media Design. The task was to create a mock magazine spread relevant to a topic we were interested in or passionate about. I chose to create a magazine focused on holistic health and wellness. I really enjoyed being creative with the design of this project and incorporating an article I found interesting. I approached the assignment with the goal of making a magazine with creative content that would draw interested readers in and entice them to keep reading.
This is my final portfolio for the class LSC 450: Documentary Photography for the Sciences. The goal of the portfolio was to showcase the skills I had learned over the course of the semester. This course pushed me out of my comfort zone as a photographer and inspired me to study other photographers and experiment with different techniques. My portfolio was also chosen to be featured on the website of my certificate, Digital Studies.
This project was an assignment I was given in PSYCH 225: Research Methods. The assignment was to create an infographic about digital literacy specific to college students. Although not the type of project that is common for psychology classes, the goal of the project was to understand how to be digitally literate in an ever-growing digital landscape and to put the information found into the form of a digital infographic. It was interesting and fun to use my creativity to translate a lot of information into a fun graphic!
